She was a famous Egyptian child actress during the 1950s and appeared in Safar Barlik, Fairuz: Live in Vegas, and Dahab.
She made her debut when she was seven in the 1950 film Yasmine.
She retired from acting at the age of 15.
She had two children, Ayman and Iman, with Egyptian comedian Badreddine Gamgoum.
She was born in the same country as fellow actress Mona Zaki .
