ABOUT FITO ESPINOSA
Peruvian illustrator and artist who is known for his unique style of plastic art which he began in 1994. He is also a fine artist and painter who has had both solo exhibitions and group exhibitions throughout Peru and the rest of the world. He shares photos of his works through Instagram for his over 140,000 followers.
His career started in 1987 when he was admitted to the Faculty of Art of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru where he majored in Painting. In 1995, he won first place at the VII National Painting Competition ICPNA. After working as an illustrator in 1997, he started teaching at the University San Ignacio de Loyola in Lima.
In 2015, he made paintings for a benefit exhibition with the Make a Wish Association at the JW Marriot Lima Hotel.
He was born and raised in Lima, Peru and shared a photo with his children through Instagram in June of 2018.
He shared a photo with television host Katia Condos at the opening of his show Equilibrio in June of 2018.
