Celebrity chef and confectioner who is recognized for having founded his eponymous Academy of Confectionery. He was seen as one of Brazil's greatest dessert chefs.
He studied law and began his cooking career working in 5-star hotel kitchens.
In 2003, he launched his own dessert company SóDoces.
He developed a passion for creating sweets from his grandmother.
Both he and fellow chef Alex Atala were born in Brazil.
