ABOUT FLAVIO SAMELO

Brazilian photographer who is known for his street images often of counter culture figures and urban landscapes. He has worked with several major brands and companies including Samsung and Jeep and is also known for his several exhibitions including the 2009 Biennial VentoSul in Brazil.

He began his career in photography shooting photos of different street skateboarders throughout Brazil. This led to the graffiti scene and other elements of urban culture. He attended the University of Communication in Sao Paulo and began working as an Art Director.

His works in photography have been featured in several press outlets including MTV Magazine, Rolling Stone Brazil, and Lodown. He is also known for being the photo-editor of the Vista Skateboard Art magazine.

He was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

He posted a shot he took of professional skateboarder Greyson Fletcher in Australia to his Instagram in January of 2018.
