ABOUT FLOYD SHAMAN
American sculptor who was one of the most prominent of his generation. He improved the lamination process by created the hollow-core technique.
He was good at basketball and won a scholarship to North Dakota State Normal and Industrial School in Ellendale, North Dakota.
His best known work was in wood and involved the detailed process of lamination.
He married Molly Shaman, who ran a bed and breakfast.
He and Abi Ferrin are both from Wyoming.
