Hong Kong singer known as one of the premiere names in Cantopop. She is a breast cancer survivor who has worked with prestigious groups like the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.

She first rose to fame after composing the theme song for the popular TV seris "The Bund".

She has had one of the most prolific careers of any Hong Kong artist, releasing more than eighty albums over the course of her forty year career.

She married a man named David.

In her early years she covered songs by famed Cantopop singers like "Godfather of Cantopop" Roman Tam .
