Daughter and only child of music icon Frankie Lymon . Her father was best known as the lead singer of the rock-and-roll group The Teenagers.
Her father's group The Teenagers released the 1956 hit, "Why Do Fools Fall in Love."
She died two days after her birth at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
Her mother was named Elizabeth Mickey Waters. Her parents' marriage was not legal because her mother was still married to her first husband.
Her father's life story was told in the 1998 film Why Do Fools Fall in Love, which starred Larenz Tate and Vivica A. Fox as her parents.
