ABOUT FRANCIS BACH HOANG NGUYEN-TRAN

Music producer known by the name Francis Got Heat. He has been nominated for a Grammy and has worked on music primarily in the hip-hop, contemporary, R&B, and rap genres. He has collaborated on records put out by artists like Drake , Bryson Tiller , and Chris Brown .

He began playing piano at the age of three. He grew up in a neighborhood outside of Toronto called Regent Park. His first album placement was in the year 2013, and he also rose in popularity online when he was posting to Twitch during the COVID-19 lockdowns.

He describes his personal sound as ambient and eerie.

His parents moved from Vietnam to Canada. His father played the guitar and his mother sang, so he comes from a musical background.

He often works closely with fellow music producer Malay .
