Professional catcher that was first signed by the New York Mets as an international free agent in 2018. He was named one of the Mets' top 5 MLB prospects in 2021 and 2022. In 2022, he was the youngest player to appear in the Major Leagues.

He originally began his professional career playing for the GCL Mets. He was later promoted to the Kingsport Mets.

He made his official major league debut playing against the Atlanta Braves on September 30, 2022. He finished the game hitting 0 for 4.

He is a native of the Guatire, Venezuela area.

He played alongside Pete Alonso during his MLB debut.
