He began his professional political career in 1998.

While serving as a councilor of Manila, he acted in a Filipino drama series titled Angels Without a Heaven, released in 2005. Some of his most popular TikToks feature clips from his talk show. Many have gained over 1 million views each.

He married his wife in 2000, and they have 5 children together.
