ABOUT FRANCISCO ALBERTO PEREZ
Professional relief pitcher that was first signed by the Cleveland Guardians as an international free agent in 2014. He was later signed by the Washington Nationals in November 2021. A year later, he elected free agency.
He first began his professional career playing for the DSL Indians. He was later promoted to the Arizona League Indians.
He made his official major league debut pitching against the Oakland Athletics on August 12, 2021, as a member of the Guardians. He only pitched 1.1 innings of relief during his team's 17-0 loss.
He grew up living with his family in Loma de Cabrera, Dominican Republic.
He played against Mark Canha and Matt Olson during his MLB debut.
