ABOUT FRANK LEAHY
Hall of Fame college football coach who won five national championships, one with Boston College (1940) and four with Notre Dame (1943, 1946, 1947, and 1949).
He was a tackle at Notre Dame from 1928-1930.
He served as the Los Angeles Chargers' general manager in 1960.
His son Jim and grandson Ryan both played football at Notre Dame.
Halfback Jack Chevigny was his teammate on Notre Dame.
