ABOUT FRED KAPLAN
Journalist who became known for his numerous contributions to Slate magazine.
He matriculated from Oberlin College in 1976.
While working as a correspondent for the Boston Globe, he was a part of a team that won the 1983 Pulitzer for their collaborative essay: War and Peace in the Nuclear Age.
In 1983, he married fellow journalist Brooke Gladstone.
He and screenwriter Lynn Shelton both studied at Oberlin College.
