ABOUT GéRARD LANVIN

French actor and writer best known for the films Mesrine: Public Enemy No. 1, The Prize of Peril, and The Taste of Others. He is a recipient of a César Award, the national film award of France.

He left school at age 17 to pursue acting. His first credited work is from the year 1976.

He voiced Manny the Mammoth in the French-dubbed Ice Age movies.

Between 1970 and 1980, he was married to Dominique Séchan. In 1984, he married Jennifer (Chantal Benoist) Lanvin. His children are named Léo and Manu Lanvin. Both of them are musicians.

His costar in the 2013 film Angelique was Nora Arnezeder .
