ABOUT GABRIELLE DENNIS

Actress and comedian best known for starring in the Fox medical drama series Rosewood . She is also well known for her role in The Game as Janay and in Blue Mountain State as Denise Roy. In 2018, she began starring in Netflix's Luke Cage .

She earned a degree in theater from Howard University after previously attending The School for Creative and Performing Arts. She landed her first acting gig in 1990 for the television movie A Mom for Christmas.

She was the host of the teenage talk show Teen Summit from 1998 to 2000.

She was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her parents put her in dance courses at age 4.

She was featured in a 2011 State Farm Commercial alongside her The Game co-star Mehcad Brooks .
