ABOUT GARETT NELSON

Football player famous for his work with the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Miami Dolphins. He started in 32 consecutive games during his first year playing for Nebraska. He was selected to be the team captain in the year 2022.

He competed as a wrestler before becoming a football player.

He recorded a career-high of 65 tackles during his junior year season. He was one of five in-state scholarship recipients in the Cornhuskers' 2019 class. His father wrestled for Nebraska in the 1990s. In late 2023, Garett was signed to the Cincinnati Bengals football team. He stands 6'4".

His parents are Chris and Holli Nelson.
