ABOUT GARRY MAPANZURE
Afro pop singer and songwriter best known for songs such as, "Wapunza," "Moyo Muti," "Ndianifuna," and more. He passed away at the young age of 25 from injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
He began singing in his church choir during his youth. He attended Kyle Preparatory School and continued to primary and high school at the same institution.
The music video for his song, "Wapunza" has been viewed more than four million times on YouTube. His work garnered him All Africa Music Awards nominations.
He was raised by pastoral parents.
Both he and fellow performer Sabastian Magacha were born in Zimbabwe.
