Genard Avery
ABOUT GENARD AVERY
American football outside linebacker known playing for the Indianapolis Colts of the NFL. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL draft.
He attended Grenada High School, where he was named to the Clarion-Ledger 2013 All-State Team. He was also listed as the Most Valuable Player of the Mississippi 6A Region. He played college football and graduated from the University of Memphis in December of 2017. As a senior, Avery tallied 75 total tackles, 3.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles.
He's also played for the Pittsburgh Steelers , the Philadelphia Eagles , and the Cleveland Browns .
His mother is Tiffany Avery.
He played alongside teammates Brandon Graham and Javon Hargrave for the Philadelphia Eagles.
