ABOUT GENEVIEVE GODBOUT

Illustrator who rose to fame for her children and family-friendly work, including for the cover of the popular 2017 children's novel Johnny Appleseed. She has illustrated for Walt Disney, Random House, and Houghton Mifflin, including for the cover artist for the 2015 Mary Poppins series.

She earned her degree in animation from Cégep du Vieux-Montréal. She then gained an advanced degree from Paris' prestigious School of Gobelins.

She illustrated the cover art for the 2015 children's novel Kindergarten Luck. Her Johnny Appleseed novel was selected to the Society of Illustrators Original Art 2017 as an exhibit.

She was originally born and raised in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.

She has illustrated the cover art for multiple volumes of the 2015 Mary Poppins series originally written by PL Travers .
