Sports fanatic and proud parent of three who is the patriarch of the YouTube family vlog channel The Mikesell Family .

In January of 2012, he posted a first picture to his Instagram account. It was a picture of a can of Diet Coke.

Professionally, he worked as a managing partner for Moxie Logistics. He previously worked in internet sales and was the owner of Blue Water Pools and Spas. In 2020, he and his family were injured in a plane crash.

His twin sons are Brock and Boston Mikesell of the Instagram group Brock and Boston . He has a daughter named Alyssa Mikesell who has a popular YouTube channel of her own. His granddaughter, Lena Lou Johnson, was born in January 2024.

He is a parent of three along with his wife Betsy Mikesell .
