Played the role of Jimmy Wilson on Call the Midwife and had a role as Alexander Forbes-Blackwell in Casualty. He returned to Casualty as Ethan Hardy in a later season.

His first role came in 2007 when he played Private Lee in Panorama.

He played the character of Jimmy Burton in Law & Order: UK.

He was born in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England and earned a BA at the University of Manchester. He has lived with his Casualty co-star Richard Winsor in real life.

He appeared in the BBC show Doctors, which starred Matthew Chambers .
