ABOUT GEORGE VALERA

Professional outfielder that was first signed by the Cleveland Indians as an international free agent in July 2017. A few years later in 2022, he was ranked the 32nd-best MLB prospect in the minor leagues.

He began his professional career playing for the AZL Indians rookie affiliate team. He was later promoted to the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.

He began his career playing centerfielder but he was eventually moved to a corner outfield position.

He was born and briefly raised in Queens, New York. At the age of 13, he and his family moved to the Dominican Republic. He has posted pictures of his mother and father on his Instagram page.

He shares a November 13th birthday with Metta World Peace .
