ABOUT GEORGE WARD
Reality television personality and drag performer who rose to fame under the professional alias Cherry Valentine. He appeared on the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK and was the focus of the BBC documentary Cherry Valentine: Gypsy Queen and Proud. He passed away in late 2022, at the young age of 28.
He was introduced to Manchester's drag scene while studying mental health nursing.
He attended the University of Cumbria. He worked with the National Health Service to assist in COVID-19 relief efforts. In early 2022, he embarked on RuPaul's Drag Race UK: The Official Tour with cast mates.
His father was a mechanic.
He collaborated with RuPaul on several occasions.
