Singer of the R&B group LeVert who released his first solo album in 1991 called Private Line. He also performed with LSG, an R&B supergroup.
He grew up surrounded by music. His father was a member of the singing group The O'Jays.
He guest-starred on an episode of The Parkers in 2003.
He had three children. His daughter Carlysia appeared on an episode of the MTV show My Super Sweet 16. His brother, Sean, passed away in 2008.
He was on the Jamie Foxx Show for two episodes.
