ABOUT GIANLUCA BUSIO

Professional midfielder that was first signed by Sporting Kansas City in August 2017 as a 15 year old. He has also made appearances as a member of the United States' national soccer team.

Prior to signing with Sporting's youth academy, he played for the North Carolina Fusion until the year of 2016.

He made his official Major League Soccer debut during a 3-2 loss against FC Dallas on July 28, 2018.

He is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. He was born of both Italian and African American descent.

He has played alongside DeAndre Yedlin as a member of the United States' national soccer team in 2021.
