ABOUT GILLIAN ROBERTSON

Professional UFC fighter best known by the nickname "The Savage." She primarily competes in the women's flyweight and strawweight divisions. She is a member of the GOAT Shed Academy fight team.

She first discovered her passion for fighting as a teenager. She initially began with cardio kickboxing. She started her professional MMA career in 2016 and amassed a record of 9-1 in amateur fights. After fighting in five professional bouts, she participated in The Ultimate Fighter 26 competition series and was subsequently signed by the UFC after the show.

She is a black belt in the fighting discipline of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. During her matches, she likes to combine her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing backgrounds.

She was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Canada.
