Fast bowler most famous as a member of the Afghan national team as well as first-class teams like Pakistan Customs. He won the 2010 ACC Trophy Elite title with Afghanistan.

He began playing cricket in 2001 and made his debut with Marylebone in 2006.

He is famous among cricket fans for his unusual size for a cricketer, standing at 6'5".

His parents were Afghan refugees living in Pakistan. He was introduced to cricket by his older brother.

He and Welsh cricketer Adam Harrison have both played for Marylebone.
