Japan-based rapper who was revealed to be a new member of the K-pop group Aespa in October 2020. The group consists of her, Ningning, Karina Yoo , and Winter Kim .

She was part of her school's choir as an alto singer. She was also a trainee for less than a year and also played guitar.

Aespa has earned a significant following on their [IUaerichandesuU] Instagram account.

She was born in Garosu-gil, Seoul, South Korea to a Korean mother and a Japanese father.

The K-pop group BLACKPINK has been a huge influence for Giselle and the rest of the Aespa group.
