ABOUT GLEN BELL
American entrepreneur and founder of the Taco Bell fast food chain, which began in Downey, California, in 1962.
He joined the U.S. Marine Corps during the Second World War.
He opened a hot dog stand in Southern California in 1948. Fourteen years later, he opened the first Taco Bell.
He and his wife Martha became parents to three children.
He and Wilbur Hardee were both founders of popular American fast-food chains.
