ABOUT GLENN KOTCHE

American drummer known for his work with the alternative rock band Wilco . He's been involved with numerous other musical projects as well like 7 Worlds Collide and The Minus 5. In 2016, Rolling Stone named him one of the 100 greatest drummers of all time.

He studied music performance at the University of Kentucky .

He was featured on the April 2020 cover of Modern Drummer. He's the author of A Beat a Week: A Total Percussion Approach to Playing the Drumset. He's released a four-track album entitled "Introducing." In 2003, he released a second solo album titled "Next" that features solo drum improvisations using homemade percussion installations.

He is from Roselle, Illinois.

He and Jeff Tweedy have performed together as bandmates in Wilco.
