He was an avid photographer and his small photo collection fetched a good price at an auction in 1990.
He married actress Susan Sennett on May 4, 1977 and they had three children together, including actor Jackson Nash.
He was formerly in Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young with esteemed musician Neil Young .
