ABOUT GRANT GEISSMAN

Jazz and new age guitarist who has been nominated for an Emmy for his work on the scores of several TV series.

He attended De Anza Junior College and attended one semester at Cal State Fullerton.

He was nominated for two Emmy Awards for writing songs for the daytime soap opera Passions.

He grew up in San Jose and went to high school in Saratoga.

He played the guitar on the theme song for the popular USA comedy Monk, which aired from 2002 to 2009 and starred Tony Shalhoub .
