ABOUT GRANT GILCHRIST
Scottish rugby union player who is best known for playing for Edinburgh Rugby in the United Rugby Championship. He was named captain for Scotland's 2022 Summer tour to Argentina. He has appeared at two Rugby World Cups, one in 2015 and the other in 2019. His Instagram account grantsgilchrist has accumulated over 10,000 followers.
In 2007, he graduated from Lornshill Academy. In 2010, he graduated from Forth Valley College. He made his international debut against France in the 2013 6 Nations.
From 2007 to 2009, he worked at BP as an apprentice process technician.
In 2011, he was a recipient of the prestigious John Macphail Scholarship after representing Scotland at numerous age-grade levels. Throughout the course of his playing career, he has appeared in more than fifty matches.
In 2017, he married Chloé Gilchrist. They have a son.
He has played alongside Finn Russell and Hamish Watson for Edinburgh Rugby.
