ABOUT GRANT TAYLOR

Major league reliever that was drafted as a second rounder in the 2023 Draft by the Chicago White Sox . He previously played college baseball at Louisiana State University . While at LSU, he was once named a member of the All-SEC Academic Honor Roll.

He is a graduate of Florence High School. During his senior season, he was named the 2021 Alabama Class 7A Player of the Year.

He recorded six straight shutout appearances to begin his MLB career. He did not allow his first earned run until facing the Arizona Diamondbacks on June 25, 2025.

He grew up living with his family in Florence, Alabama. He is one of four siblings.

He was selected during the 2023 MLB Draft just like Paul Skenes .
