ABOUT GRETAR STEINSSON

Former right back from Iceland who played professionally in Iceland, Switzerland, Netherlands, England, and Turkey and played for Iceland's national team.

His youth career began with Ibrottabandalag Akraness in 1998.

September 2013, he announced that he was retiring.

He has a son Johann and a daughter Elma Ros.

He nearly came to Charlton Athletic, but the club chose defender Luke Young instead.
