Professional cricket player who is widely recognized for his right-arm fast-medium bowling style. He occupied the role of all-rounder for Afghanistan's fourteen man squad and began making international appearances in 2012.

He made his debut with the Afghanistan squad at the 2008 World Cricket League Division Five in Japan.

In 2012 he made his Twenty20 International debut in 2012 against the Netherlands.

He is from Afghanistan.

In the 2010 documentary Out of the Ashes he cited Arnold Schwarzenegger as being a major influence on his life.
