ABOUT GUNNAR HENDERSON

Professional infielder who was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles during the second round of the 2019 MLB Draft. He was selected to represent the Orioles during the 2022 All-Star Futures Game. He was named a Top 100 prospect in 2022 by MLB.com.

Prior to being drafted, he attended John T. Morgan Academy in Selma, Alabama. In high school, he was a two-sport athlete playing baseball and basketball primarily.

He made his major league debut playing against the Cleveland Indians on August 31, 2022. He finished his first career game hitting 2 for 4.

Although he was born in Montgomery, he grew up living with his family in Selma, Alabama. His younger brother is Cade Henderson.

He played alongside Cedric Mullins as a member of the Orioles during the 2022 MLB season. His parents are Allen and Kerry Henderson.
