Idol represented by Plan A Entertainment who earned a place in the boy group X1 after finishing in third place on the finale of Produce X 101. In June of 2020 he dropped his debut solo EP titled 'Fame.'

In 2016, he debuted as a member of the group Victon .

He appeared on a TV show called Me & 7 Men in 2016. He also appeared in VICTON's Born Identity (2017) and VICTON's Prelude to the War (2018). He has also become immensely popular on Instagram, with his w_o_o_y_a account earning a following of over 1.2 million fans. In summer of 2021, he took to social media to announce that he would be enlisting in the military for mandatory service.

He has an older sister named Han Sunhwa who is a singer and actress as well.

He performed alongside Son Dong Pyo in the group X1.
