Vietnamese-Australian singer who has gained fame as a member of the girl group NewJeans . Prior to joining the group, she made a guest appearance in the official music video for BTS 's " Permission to Dance ." NewJeans released their self-titled debut EP in August 2022.
She spent two and a half years as a trainee before debuting with NewJeans.
She speaks Vietnamese, Korean, and English. Fans gave her the nickname Cherry after she appeared in the "Permission to Dance" music video.
Her Vietnamese name is Pham Ngoc Han. She has a younger sister named Jasmine. She is of Vietnamese descent.
She is in NewJeans alongside members such as Hyein and Haerin .
