ABOUT HASSAN AL-HAYDOS

Professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Qatar Stars League club Al Sadd. He was voted as the Best Qatari Player in the year 2014 in a poll conducted by Doha Stadium. He also plays for the Qatar national team.

He started playing soccer for Al Sadd at the age of eight. He made his senior team debut at the age of 17 in the year 2007.

He made his debut for the senior Qatar national team in the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He has since made 172 appearances and scored 36 goals for the national side, making him the most capped Qatari soccer player ever and the fifth highest goal scorer.

He is married to his wife, with whom he has a daughter.

He and fellow soccer player Akram Afif both play for Al Sadd and the Qatar national team.
