ABOUT HERMAN COHEN
Producer of B-movies who helped to popularize the teen horror movie genre with films like I Was a Teenage Werewolf and 1969's Crooks and Coronets.
He worked as a gofer and an usher in a theater beginning at age twelve.
In 1981, he founded Cobra Media, a production company oriented around horror films.
He returned to his roots later in life by purchasing the theater where he had worked as a teenager.
He produced Crime of Passion, which starred Barbara Stanwyck .
