ABOUT HOPE SANDOVAL

Singer and songwriter for the rock band Mazzy Star and Hope Sandoval & the Warm Inventions. She is accredited with writing many of the lyrics for Mazzy Star. She released four studio albums with Mazzy Star.

She studied at Mark Keppel High School and formed the music group, Going Home, in 1986. The band was a folk duo.

She is known for her dimly lit performances and her shy, withdrawn stage persona. Throughout her career, she has been featured by media outlets like Rolling Stone. As well as releasing albums digitally, she has also had a few of them produced on vinyl.
