ABOUT HORI MAYI

Tori Mayi is Taiwan based tattoo artist whose work embodies traditional East Asian imagery and colorful floral elements. She has large full color tattoos covering most of her body up to her face, this along with her work has earned her an instagram following of 130,000.

She attended the Jinwen University of Science and Technology, receiving an associates degree in graphic design.

Her real name is Hu Yu-hsin. Her artist name,Tori Mayi means "Tattoo Dance".

When she first became interested in tattoos, her mother didn't want her to get one, saying that it was unsanitary.

She was an apprentice under award winning tattoo artist Chen Cheng-Hsiung.
