Huang Shengyi

ABOUT HUANG SHENGYI

Otherwise known as Eva Huang, she is a Chinese actress and singer who rose to fame in 2004 starring in Kung Fu Hustle. She would go on to star in The Sorcerer and the White Snake, Iceman, and Race to Witch Mountain.

Prior to her screen debut, she graduated from Beijing Film Academy in 2001.

Some of her prominent television credits include The Shadow of Empress Wu and Sword Stained with Royal Blood.

Her father was educated in the United States and lived there during the early 1990s. Her mother was an editor for a Shanghai newspaper agency.

She stars opposite Donnie Yen in both Iceman and Iceman 2.
