Famous aerial stunt pilot who was nicknamed "The Black Eagle."
He was attending boarding school in England at the start of World War I, at which point he was evacuated to Canada.
He was invited to Ethiopia to entertain the country's new leader; however, he ended up being forced out of the country after he crashed his plane on Ethiopian soil.
His father was a plantation manager in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
He and Marlon Green both helped to pave the way for future generations of pilots of African descent.
