ABOUT IAN KIRKPATRICK

Music producer, composer, musician, entertainer, artist, and songwriter who has worked with artists such as Selena Gomez , Pitbull , Shakira , Jason Derulo , Dua Lipa , and Britney Spears . He collaborated with groups such as Backstreet Boys and The Chainsmokers .

At the age of five, he received a drum set for his birthday. He played in bands in junior high and high school.

In the year 2008, he started working with Illinois quintet Plain White T's while they were recording their Big Bad World album. His first major success was with Neon Trees, when he produced the band's debut 2010 single "Animal."

His mother has Moroccan heritage and his father has Irish heritage.

He was influenced by Aphex Twin , Squarepusher, and Autechre.
