ABOUT IAN SEYMOUR
Professional relief pitcher that was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays as a second rounder in 2020. Previously, he played college baseball at Virginia Tech University . In 2018, he earned all All-ACC Academic Team honors.
He first began his professional baseball career with the Charleston RiverDogs. He was later promoted to the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
He made his official MLB debut while playing against the Boston Red Sox on June 9, 2025. He pitched two scoreless innings and recorded two strikeouts.
He grew up living with his family in the state of Connecticut. He is the oldest of three siblings.
He is was selected during the 2020 MLB Draft just like Spencer Torkelson .
