Professional goaltender that drafted by the New York Rangers during the fourth round of the 2014 NHL Draft. Prior to playing in the NHL, he played for the Spartak Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League. He has played on 3 different teams throughout his professional career.

He began his youth hockey career playing for Krylya Sovetov Moscow.

He made his professional NHL debut playing against the Colorado Avalanche on January 7, 2021. He stands at 6 feet 11 inches and weighs approximately 183 pounds.

He grew up living with his family in Moscow, Russia.

He played alongside Chris Kreider as a member of Rangers during the 2021 NHL season.
