Cricket bowler who has gained fame for his international club career, including for the Hollywoodbets Dolphins. He was named the T20I Cricketer of the Year at the Cricket South Africa 2017 awards.
He made his professional cricket debut in 1996 in Pakistan for Lahore.
He was ranked as the #1 bowler in both the T20I and ODI cricket leagues in February 2017. He was previously named to the ODI team of the year in 2015.
He married his wife Sumayya in 2007. He is of Pakistani and South African descent.
He and Faf Du Plessis have played as teammates for the South African national cricket squad.
