Former NFL wide receiver whose career spanned from 1984 to 2000.

He was drafted 1st overall by the New England Patriots in 1984.

He was a 5-time pro bowl selection and finished his career with 12,785 receiving yards and 84 touchdowns.

His son, Londen Fryar, played cornerback for the New York Giants.

He played in the 1998 Pro Bowl with the NFC team and Packers quarterback Brett Favre .
